Eric's philosophy is simple - "You want to look like you. Just done." And my brides agree! I've referred several clients to Eric, who have loved his professionalism and nuanced touch. Eric is my go-to guy for special occasions, as well. Check out his work in action below, and on his own blog at http://beautyshoptalknyc.blogspot.com/
- Make sure to have a hair and makeup trial at least a month in advance. You want to be able to adjust anything before the wedding day.
- Get a trim 3 weeks before the wedding, you want to be fresh with no split ends.
- Get your color done the week before the wedding, no one wants to see roots!
- Keep your hair classic and simple. You want to look back at these pictures and see how beautiful you are, not what was that trendy hair style.
- Enjoy everything! How often do you get to have your hair and makeup done?!
Joanne wanted a side-sweep that was sophisticated and reflective of her personality.
Tanya's loose locks were perfectly suited for her newlywed portrait session on the Brooklyn Bridge.

For a festive, formal NYC event, I told Eric I wanted to look as glamorous as a leading lady in a James Bond film - boy, did he pull it off!
